“The Greek Scouser” was born 26 years ago in Thessaloniki, and grew up in Serres. His father George,  a professional pastry chef, comes from the town of Serres and his mother, Spyridoula Gorou from Kambi, Arta. He made his first football steps with his brother Stergios during their childhood in Neapoli, Thessaloniki and then at Panserraikos FC, in the Third Greek Division. The 2 of them went together and kept going until Olympiacos came to his life. Konstantinos, from the age of 17, still feels blessed because he was able to turn his favorite sport / hobby into a profession.
After his transfer to Olympiacos, came the loan spells to Esbjerg and Willem II respectively. He returned as an established player to Piraeus, making an international impact with his performances and saw his football value take off,  securing a transfer to Liverpool FC. Throughout time, he always makes sure to stay connected with his beloved family and every summer he returns to his paternal home, in Lefkonas, Serres, to visit his mother and spend part of his vacation in Skiathos where his father still works hard during the summer.
When not around a football, Kostas relaxes by fishing and is actively involved with cooking; part-time activities that relieve him of the demanding life of a top-flight professional footballer. Video-games, always with the “appropriate” football company, as well as studying local history before his trips, are also among his ways of letting off steam and clearing his head.He possesses deep love for his 2 dogs, Maui and Fuerte;  something that started during a period of soul-searching and shortly before leaving Greece for Denmark. Until today, they are an integral part of his personal life. Last but not least, and in case it is not that obvious yet, Tsimi never stops evolving his personal sense of style and expressing himself through tattoos & ink art.
